I ordered the Catalina floor lamp to use in a 3-season room. During the summer months, the room is essentially a screen-porch, and in the colder months it is sealed to the weather but not heated. The style of the lamp fits perfectly with our decor. Although the finish is plastic, it looks like texture-painted metal (we got the bronze base).

Assembling the lamp was pretty easy, but the instructions aren't that good. It took a few minutes to realize that a couple of small parts (washers and nuts) were not missing - I had been looking for them in a small plastic bag, but they were actually partially assembled with the finial. I had to assemble the base twice because I didn't put the decorative cover in place over the seam the first time. It only took a few minutes to correct the error. The lamp shade assembly is a little tricky, but once I got it going correctly it was easy.

All in all, I'd say this is a good product, easy to assemble, and looks great!
